Corrections and tax letters
We correct returns from previous years and answer letters from the tax agency about your income tax.
Why confirming the draft is not enough
The draft only includes data reported by third parties. It often misses deductions such as rent of your main home or donations, expenses on a let property, or the deductions specific to Catalonia.
Before filing, we compare individual and joint returns, review your tax data and make sure no income is missing or duplicated.
Frequently asked questions
When is the Spanish income tax return filed?
The campaign runs from early April to the end of June. If you owe tax and want it direct-debited, the deadline is a few days earlier.
Do I have to file a return?
It depends on your income and how many payers you had. Self-employed people must always file. Even if you are not required to, it is worth filing if you are due a refund.
Can I correct a mistake in a previous return?
Yes, within the following four years. If the error was in your favour we claim the refund; if not, we regularise it before the tax agency asks, which reduces the surcharge.
